CREATE GOALS AND A DYNAMIC TREATMENT PLAN THAT IS AS UNIQUE AS YOU ARE.
I do not specialize in mental health care. I specialize in total healthcare. My philosophy of treatment is to help my clients achieve optimal wellness. I view the body as a whole, a sum of its parts. I do not evaluate the mental health of an individual without exploring all the systems in the body. My expectation is that clients are willing and excited to take responsibility for wanting change in their lives.
In order to achieve a patient’s goals I use an integrative approach that combines evidenced based conventional and complementary treatments. Individually tailored treatment plans might include exercise, adequate nutrition, supplements, genetic testing, hormonal evaluation, neurotransmitter testing, psychotherapy, spirituality and personalized medications. Through this comprehensive whole body approach individuals have the best opportunity to achieve optimal mental health, wholeness and balance in their lives.
ACHIEVE OPTIMAL HEALTH…
A different and separate (from mental health) assessment provided by me is the management of wellness for people interested in optimizing their health.
Aging is unavoidable. Aging well is achievable.
Traditional medicine treats already established disease and disorders. A practice focused on wellness seeks to identify, interrupt, and attempt to repair disrupted body processes, allowing us to move into a “preventative approach” over just a treating mode.
Modern medical research points the way to delay and even reverse the decay of our bodies produced by a combination of factors such as decreased production of hormones and key enzymes, diminished by absorption of essential nutrients, oxidative stress, toxic elements in our environment, complications of regular medications, etc.
By pursuing optimal health and understanding the “root cause” of disorders you can expect:
- More energy
- Improved sleep
- Better cognition
- Decreased obesity (one of the major health concerns of our times)
- Empowering lifestyle modifications- (i.e. exercise, diet, etc.)
